Kanye West surprised guests at an awards ceremony in Hollywood by showing up to present film director, Steve Mcqueen with an accolade. They were both at the Hollywood Film Awards, where Steve was presented with the Breakout Director Award (by West).
Mcqueen’s being recognized for his work as director on for his films like 2012’s Shame and 12 years a slave.
The two previously collaborated on a Mtv performance. Mcqueen’s latest film, 12 years a slave, is scheduled to go wide across North America very soon. It opened in a very few cinemas last week.
