Last seen in the J.J Abrams produced tv drama Undercovers, Boris Kodjoe will be cast opposite Claire Forlani in a new t.v. pilot called Scruples. Boris will also be starring the new Resident evil movie to be released over the summer.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Boris' mega hot co-star from undercovers has also been a hot property in LaLa land, currently she stars in the Kiefer Sutherland hit show, Touch.

Even though the rapper Nate Dogg has been dead now for years he's about to rap on stage with Dre and Warren G. In a move that can viewed as visionary or macabre, Dr Dre is about to have Nate beamed on stage through hologram technoloy at the Coachella Music festival. 

Holographic technoloy gain famed in the Star Wars films but real world applications have been limited to toys and gimmick spots on t.v. Now if Dre's performance is a hit, there'll for sure be others to use the technology in their shows.

With no promotion whatsoever T.D Jakes' latest flick Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day, has cracked the top 15 on the North American movie boxoffice. The film stars sex symbol Blair Underwood and Tyler Perry's favourite muse, Sharon Leal.

The movie's budget is unknown, but it's probably's in the low $500,000 to $1,000,000 US dollar range. Jakes is becoming something of a hollywood player having starred and produced and starred in (2011) Jumping the broom and (2009) Not easily broken.

The hit movie Hunger games, starring amongst others Lenny Kravitz and Amandla Stenberg is number one at the boxoffice again for 4th straight week. Fans are ravernously devouring the film which stuck close to the narrative of the book it's based on.

The film has thus far grossed a very impressive $337 million at the domestic boxoffice alone – $531 million US globally. The movie has strong African American cast along with Kravitz and Stenberg there's, Dayo Okeniyi, Latarsha Rose, Karan Kendrick and Sharon Morris.
