Red Tails has done what few have predicted – made gwap, made money, ($50 million, so far only in North America). It now ranks as the highest grossing world war 2 airplane flick, not a crowded field to be honest, it was a major gamble for it famous producer George Lucas. If he releases his movie world wide it could pocket another $20 million or so, pushing it firmly into profitable standing.
